What do you need to build your dream home?

Here you go, if you are still reading this post, it means you have decided to go for this journey. Based on my experience, I would try to help on what do you need? 1) Selecting right home or lot What is in your mind, what size of house you want to build? do you want to build single story or multiple stories? What you should look for? Single Story: Single story is easy to think as it doesn't need much thinking in terms of city approving your plan due to multiple stories near by your place. Multiple Story: Look out your neighbhorhood, you must have at least 1 mltiple story house visible from your home. This makes good case for city to consider your house to be multiple story. Again, every county/city has different rules, please search yourself to know what is specific rule of your city. What I am writing is thumb rule. Do you really want to construct your dream home?

Many times we look at beautiful homes and feel that I wish, I had a home like this? Sure, new beautiful home is everyone desire, but, are you scared of construction? Here are the few things you need to ask yourself before you can start thinking into this direction: A) Why do you want to construct home? What are you looking at bare minimum and what compromises you can make? B) How do you deal with unknown situations? Do you really get tensed? C) Are you prepared for lengthy process (design to build) some where from 1.5 years to 3-4 years process? D) Did you account for extra budget?
